Insurance and self-pay

I am recognised by the major UK insurers and also see self-funding and international patients.

UK insurers

BUPA, AXA Health, Cigna, Vitality, Simplyhealth and WPA follow broadly the same process:

GP referral. Your insurer will usually want your GP to refer you to a specialist.
Authorisation code. After the referral, the insurer issues an authorisation code for the first consultation.
Booking. Please contact my secretary with your policy number and authorisation code.

International insurers have their own authorisation procedures. Please check with your provider before booking.

Self-funding patients are seen. Consultation and procedure fees are confirmed in writing before any treatment is undertaken.
